Etude House Color Lips Fit RD-301, Lipstick with Unique Formula

I am back with another post from Etude House. As you all may know, I was invited to the launching event of Etude Magic Any Cushion few months ago. And I was so happy because when I went home and opened my goodie bag, not only I found the Magic Any Cushion, but also this Etude House Color Lips-fit. Honestly, this is my first lip product I've tried from Etude House so I was excited. This is the pioneer of my journey towards Korean cosmetics line!

From what I've read, many Korean Cosmetics brand have released the similar product, for example, Nature Republic's Botanical Gradation Tint (pardon me, but i never head that brand before) and 3CE lip lacquers. Not that I am an expert on Korean Make Up or whatsoever, but if many Korean Brands release the similar product, it means this product must be really good, or at least many people like it.

From the website it said that this product is a revolutionary liquid type lipstick that moistly glides onto lips with its vivid color and finishes off with a weightless powdery texture. Etude Color Lips-fit available in 8 shades, I believe, but one that I have is in shade RD-301 Perfect-Fit Red

For review purpose, I've tried this product a few times. And each time, I wore it for about 5 hours or more. So hopefully that way I could give an honest review for Etude House Color Lips Fit lipstick. So far, the closest lip product that I've own which similar to Etude House Colors Lips Fit is L'Oreal Color Riche Caress Wet Shine Stain, which is a liquid lacquers with a doe-foot applicator. But after a few days trying this Etude House product, in result-wise these both products are completely different.

Etude House Colors Lips Fit in RD-301, comes with a standard pink box that shows detail information of the product. The container itself is a clear plastic bottle which reminds me to the packaging of Cha-cha tint from Benefit Cosmetics. So compare to the packaging of traditional lipstick, Etude House Lips Fit is bulkier, in my opinion. But the good thing is since the bottle is transparent, you can really see the color of the product inside. It comes with a plastic applicator like a lip-gloss.

I know Korean make up always come with a pretty and cute packaging, but they also come with a great yummy scent. When I opened the bottle of Etude House Color Lips Fit, I can smell fruity sweet scent that certainly makes me wanting to apply it more and more.

Etude house colors lips fit has a liquid texture that glides smoothly when it's applied. It has a shine at a first few minutes, but after it dries it'll be matte and eventually turn into powdery finish. It stains a little bit, so better careful when you apply it. After I apply my lips with this lipstick and kiss the back of my hand the color will transfer. It's unfortunate, since it has a very dry finish we would think that it'll transfer-proof, but obviously it's not. But it's quite build-able when it's freshly applied

Shade that I own is RD-301 Perfect Fit Red, which is a neon red/pink that looks very very pretty. I believe it has a blue undertone so it can give you the effect of whiter teeth when you wear it. From the packaging the color looks very bright and can be intimidating for some people. But I believe you can pull off this color with a right make up and on a right event, for exp: for party or hang out to hte mall. For my taste, this color is just too bright for my office look, so I only use it for special occasion. But, hey, if you like it, go for it!

I would consider Etude House Color Lips fit lasts longer than the regular lipstick. Without eat and drink It could last 5 hours or even more, but otherwise it probably only stands for 3 hours max.

I think one main thing that attracts me to this lipstick is the colors. It's really gorgeous and the unique texture enable it to bring out such colors. However, despite the fact that I always favor matte lipstick, but for Etude House Color Lips once it dries, it becomes very powdery and successfully to turn me off, especially when my lips start to patchy.

With formula from Etude House Color Lips, it's difficult to re-apply because it will just add the patchiness on my lips that's already there. So if I want to re-apply, I have to wipe off the old layer entirely then distribute the new layer.

Would I try another product form this series? For the sake of the colors, yes I will. But for formula-wise, this product is not very appealing for me. For price it's around IDR 119.000, but vary according to the online shop

The colour suits you so well! The packaging is really adorable - I'd never heard of Etude House before, but I'll definitely check them out now!

Etude House makeup is always long-lasting. Not surprised the lipstick lasts a long time. It would be super drying because of it though. Such a shame!

Love the color! And yes, I know what you meant by having to reapply but the lips feel patchy already from previous application (derita punya bibir gampang kering hiks)
