Hey Ladies,

I've been wanting a BB cushion for a longest time. Two things that kind of stop me to go out and get one is, first, the fact that BB cushion is not cheap. And second, usually it's only available in a very limited shade. But as you all my read in may few last post, I was invited to Etude House Magic Any Cushion Launch Event. And I got their latest launched product, Precious Mineral Magic Any Cushion, in my goodiebag! 

Magic Any Cushion from Etude House claimed to be a revolutionary new concept cushion typed, all in one formula. The product lasts all day long and it gives lasting soft & gorgeous make up with perfect fitness on skin anytime, anywhere. Here's some description for this product I gathered from the website:

I think we all have to agree that Etude House is an expert for designing cute packaging for their products, with no exception for Magic Any Cushion as well. This cushion has a compact shape which perfect for travel or even just to carry around in your daily make up pouch. The cover design is girly and very pretty. Inside it has a separator between the cushion and the puff so that the foundation won't stain all over the place, and I believe that's the standard packaging for any BB cushion. And don't worry, you can always refill it once you run out of the product. Just push gently the surface at the back of the cushion until it removes from the packaging, and then you can put a new refill inside. 

Magic Any Cushion has liquid texture and it feels wet and sticky on my face. No doubt it's moisturised my skin once I have applied it and gives a dewy result. As you can see in my picture above, my forehead and nose look a bit shiny, but after i covered it with my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, it didn't look that bad at first. 

The problem is, I don't know if it's normal or not for cushion product, but it takes a while for the foundation to set on my face. Even after I covered it with powder, few hours later when I touched my face it still felt sticky and I looked dewy. BUT the dewiness is on a whole other level AKA I looked so oily and shiny. I sort of understand why they formulated it this way, since I know Korean Girls's definition of glowing face is so UP THERE, while my definition is soooo below that. 

Sadly, I have to inform you that even Magic Any Cushion in Peach shade, which claimed would look natural on dark skin, failed to match my slightly tan skintone. It's a tad too white for me which end up making my face looked greyish. I have to admit though, the shade was getting better after three hours, which is a little to long for my patience. 

This BB cushion delivers a thin coverage, as you can see from my picture below, it didn't really conceal my hyperpigmentation on my chin. However, this product really last a long time. The other day, I used it from 8 am and I removed my make up around 8 pm, and the product was still there. Another bonus is SPF 50 in it. As we all know, for SPF,  the higher the better!

New York City , hands down, is  my favorite city in the world. I've never been to NYC but somehow I was enchanted by the charm of  Big Apple and I adore everything in it. The tall building, the quietness of central park, the billboards in Time Squares. I love it. I LOVE IT. 

Where should i started? It's funny and witty and it has the essence of NYC's goodness. I am all about "to expect the unexpected" element in a movie and it was portrayed beautifully in You've Got Mail. Meet Kathleen Kelly and Joe Fox, a cat VS dog in reality but two strangers with the cosmic bound in online world. This movie is my "cave" when I need me-time and I've watched it sooo many times. I really wish reality is as good as this movie but I guess it's only exist in Nora Ephron's movie.


This movie is famous for rising question on: can a guy and a girl be friends? And If you ask me, I will say yes, but my opinion is a topic for another time. When Harry met Sally is a about 2 people that hated each other at first, then became friends, then became lover, broke up, and then back together again. There are so many famous quote in this movie such as "I'll have what she's having" and "no man can be friends with a woman that he finds attractive".  You also can spot some famous landmarks in NYC such as Washington Square Park and Metropolitan Museum of Art.

3 things that make this movie so popular: Sex, Carrie Bradshaw's shoes, and of course, New York City. Not my typical chicklit to be honest, but I have a favorite scene when Mr. Big have a second thought on marrying Carry, and when she saw him she just jumped out of the car and smacked the hand bouquet to his head. It was, obviously, an epic scene. Anyhow, this movie is about Carrie that finally ties the knot with Mr. Big, but apparently the process was not as smooth as Carrie thought it would be. And you need to watch it by yourself to find out how it ends.

Last week I just watched this movie again for the gazillion of times! And after all this time, it never failed to impress me. This movie is so inspiring and encouraging especially for women. The plot is about a 30 something girl from Staten Island who's trying to make her way in corporate ladder and also love life. I love how feisty Melanie Griffith in this movie and inspired me alot in so many ways. If you also are a working girl, I bet this movie can relate so much with you.

2 things that drawn me to this movie are New York City and Audrey Hepburn. This classic movie, in my opinion, offers a very unique story that usually not my cup of tea. But i just got hooked once I saw Holly Golightly (Audrey Hepburn) got out of a taxi, early in the morning, walked to Tiffany's store on Fifth Avenue and ate her breakfast there, while staring at the display window in a total peace. And in the background I could hear the famous Moon River (original soundtrack of Breakfast at Tiffany's) playing. It's so magical.

I think the similarity of these movies is they don't treat New York City just like a background or set, but they give the city a character/role that is irreplaceable for the movie, and for that reason they became my top 5 Chicklit Movie set in New York.

Few weeks ago I was invited to Click on Beauty event hosted by The Body Shop Indonesia. The purpose of this event was to promote The Body Shop online shop. Some of you may have already shopped there before, but I did my first shop at www.thebodyshop.co.id after TBS Indonesia gave me this IDR 1,000,000 shopping voucher to spend at their online shop.

Honestly, it's rare for me to spend IDR 1,000,000 in one purchase just because it's a lot amount of money. So I was beyond happy to receive this TBS shopping voucher worth IDR 1,000,000. 

And today, I want to share with you all my haul in The Body Shop online shop. First of all, it was kinda tricky for me to choose products that I wanted. Maybe because I only used few TBS products before, and my favorite product was Amazonian Wild Lily Eau de toilette which was not available at that time on the website ( it's available now!). So for choosing these products one by one, I used the help of Internet. What I did was I browsed on Internet and searched on people's favorite products from TBS. After I gathered all those information I made a list and the list down into these 6 products. 

Tea Tree Oil (Rp. 119,000)

This is a popular acne-treatment product from TBS. It has an liquid/oil consistency which needs to be applied by using Q-tip. Many said this product works fast, only 2-5 days the blemishes/pimple will disappear. So many blogger praised this product and I know I am still on search of a good acne product, so I cant miss this one. 

Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash (Rp. 109,000)

I believe  facial wash has an important role in our skincare routine, moreover when we find a perfect facial wash, it can reduce our skin problems such as pimple, large pores, dull skin, etc. By pairing this product with Tea Tree Oil I hope I could achieve a better skin. 

Vitamin E Eye Cream (Rp. 229,000)

Right now I am using Physician Formula Eye Cream, but it's only few dabs left, soon i need to get a new eye cream. And after I saw from their website that TBS Vitamin E Eye Cream is one of their best seller product, I knew I have to get one. 

All in One Instablue Eye Primer

This is one of the latest product from TBS on their make up department. Not only Instablur Eye Primer, but they also released Instablur Face primer. Some said this product works wonders for oily lid, and God knows I have a very oily lids especially area under my bottom waterline.
