One thing that I regret about this look is I kept pulling my hair up in every single picture instead of letting it down so I will look more like a lion.

How I get this Nude'tude Palette was interesting. I initially ordered this palette for my friend, when it arrived in my office and I open the palette, i found that the mirror was broken. Due to shipment policy, I cant return it because I didn't pay extra for insurance. So I tried to sell it on FB, and after a week no one seem interested with it,  so I decided to have it for my self instead :D

So I am sure you've already heard about this wonderful palette. Nude'tude Palette has been around for a while now and been favorite for many bloggers as well. I have to say that the theme of this palette reminds me alot of Naked Palette from Urban Decay, which is neutral/nude palette.

Colors

This palette contains 12 shades: 8 shimmers and 4 mattes. The color range from a very light shade such as Sassy to a dark ones like Serious or Sleek. I have to say though, I am not really crazy with the color combination because I find it's lacking for medium colors. So either you are going to do a light eye look or a dark/bold look with this palette. My favorite shade from Nude'tude Palette is Sexy, which is a matte wine red shade. I rarely see this color from other palette, so I am pretty excited with it. My least favorite color has to be Snobby because it looks somehow tacky, at least for me. If I could have more color to this palette,  I will definitely add taupe-ish or mauve-ish color, as I feel it would fill the medium shade that's almost non-existed from this palette. 

 This palette came out with a large mirror and a small dual ended brush which I rarely use because it's too stiff for me. The packaging is made from a cardboard with a magnetic closing which is very convenient for travel. It's a sturdy packaging that I assume it wont be ruined if i drop it to the floor, although it wont survive if I happen to sit on it :D (I mean, look at the mirror, I am pretty sure it's broken because something heavy was placed on top if it). The design itself is sleek, cute and girly. It's a type of palette that is fun to look at because of the design. This palette is wider but not as bulky as Naked Palette. 

Overall, I think this palette is awesome. The quality is definitely there and I am not surprised  so many people loving this palette. Yes, I experienced the fallout issue, but it's no biggie for me. This palette is also versatile and If I got asked better this or Naked Palette? I would say, if you have the budget, then go with Naked Palette just because I think the color combination is better, but If you decide to buy this instead, you wont be missing much.

Acara ini sendiri menjadi tambah seru dengan adanya kompetisi Best Dress yang dimenangkan oleh Vani, dan tantangan mencuci muka dengan The New Gernier Light Complete before and after make up yang dimenangkan oleh Tia dan Jesslyn (Woohoo! Dapet voucher MAP, asyikk!)

Acara ini diadakan di L'oreal Indonesia Lounge, DBS Tower lantai 30, and that's the view from 30th floor! Pas mau pergi ke event ini, sengaja janjian dengan Nurina supaya bisa jadi duo maut (Yay!)

Beberapa saat lalu, para beauty bloggers di Indoneisa, khusunya yang berdomisili di Jakarta, di undang ke event Launcing Cosmekita.com. Selain bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan apa itu Cosmekita.com, dalam acara ini juga diadakan make up demo oleh Olga Gradia ( yang instagramnya baru saja saya follow beberapa waktu yang lalu). Dalam demo nya, Olga Gradia menunjukan teknik melukis alis agar sesuai dan cocok dengan bentuk wajah (a lesson that I must learn!)

Tidak hanya make up demo dari Olga Gradia, dipeluncuran Cosmekita.com para undangan berkesempatan untuk melihat langsung hair demo yang dilakukan oleh 2 hair-dresser ternama dari Jepang, Mr. Yamano Mitsuo dan Mr. Yazawa Shoichi. 2 bloggers terpilih mendapatkan kesempatan untuk menjadi model untuk hair demo ini (so lucky!). Hey Cupcakes!

Shu Uemura have released their The Bijoux Collection for spring 2014 a while ago.  This collection includes blusher, pressed powder, matte lipstick, false lashes, and nail polishes. A few weeks ago I attended Shu Uemura Make Up Show at Lotte Shopping Avenue, and I got this Shu Uemura Silk Cushion Eyeshadow in my goodie bag and I was beyond happy because firstly, it is limited edition, so it means I got a chance to try a product that I know wont be available somewhere in the future, and secondly, it's quite pricey and no where I would pay IDR 301,000 for a single eyeshadow. 

 The Shu Uemura Silk Cushion Eyeshadow available in 4 colors: Amethyst Purple, Margonite Pink, Peridot Green, and Amber Brown. The one that I received is Margonite Pink. This product was claimed as "One-of-a-kind, silky smooth textured eye shadow with a marshmallow-like cushiony feel. This unique texture features benefits of both powder shadow and cream shadow - desirable color AND long-lasting wear. "

And yes, oh yes, the texture of this eyeshadow is exquisite. It feels mousy, and super-smooth, and cool on my fingertips . It's just sooo fine until it got to the point where I want to dip my finger into it all the time. The color it self  cannot go wrong, it contains a perfect amount of shimmer to reach that luminous effect without looking like a disco ball on your lid-thanks to the silver white Pearly Carta marbled into it. Unfortunately, this eyeshadow is creasing on my lid A LOT, no matter how much eye primer I applied. And I know it's just not me because from other reviews I've read, many people experienced the same issue. So better not expecting it to be sticking around on your lid like other cream eyeshadow does such as  Maybelline Color Tattoo or Borjouis Color Edition Eyeshadow.

The next problem is the fact that when I blended  this eyeshadow together with other color, it choose to gone and disappeared with no trace rather than merge beautifully with other shades and create a new lovely color combo. So Shu Uemura Silk Cushion Eyeshadow is basically a product that should be used on it's own.  Applying this eyeshadow on my lid was also tricky, I wont bother to use a brush, moreover synthetic brush, because it's just wont picking up the color. Use your finger and it will do all the trick.

I know I am crazy because after all the cons of this product I am still loving this Shu Uemura Silk Cushion Eyeshadow in Margonite Pink. This eyeshadow enables me to create a natural soft sparkly look for my eyes if I apply it at some certain area: a dab at the center on the lid, a pinky dab at the inner corner of the lid, a soft stroke under my eyebrow, and pretty much stay away from the rest.

The technique that I've learned and applied lately is the packing and blending technique. So for this Smokey eyes, I basically just packing on the eyeshadow into my lid and blending it away, packing it on again and blending it away, and so on  and on until it create a "gradation" color on my lid.
