Review #11: The Body Shop: Wild Rose Hand Cream SPF 15
11:52 PM
If I don't remember that I genetically have a not-so-perfect skin, I would probably skip using body lotion, more over a hand cream. I just dislike the feeling of it. So when I saw my friend always using a hand cream every few hours, I just thought it was weird. But my relationship with hand cream is evolving after I met The Body Shop Wild Rose Hand Cream SPF 15. I discovered this product by accident, I was at The Body Shop counter and just looked around. I was smelling all the products there like a total weirdo when suddenly I got enlightenment from the scent of this Body Shop hand cream. Let me tell you people, it smells like nothing you ever smell before. It's fresh, floral, ....it smells Divine!
This wonderful hand cream not only has -obviously- a heavenly fragrance, but it also claimed to hydrates and helps protect against the appearance of brown spot, and I am pretty much sure that The Body Shop team created this product initially for mature skin (it was written in the old tube). But now they address it towards all age customer. Although the formula is thick but it's easily absorbed by skin and doesn't leave a greasy feeling. It makes my hands feel pleasantly soft and smooth. This is the type of hand cream that is nice to reapply several times a day and the fact it has SPF 15 is a great bonus.
The only downer of this hand cream is the packaging. It reminds me a lot of a tooth paste tube. Since it's metal, it can be a little annoying to use because the cream tends to keep coming out after I have dispensed some into my hands. But no worries, it only applies for a new tube. After several time of usage, it would stop. The price is IDR 79,000 for 30 ml and from someone that always skeptical about hand cream, I am happy to say that I finally found a hand cream for me.
This is my my favorite hand cream, what about yours?
Gratitude for today:
I am grateful that I am finally have my first "grown-up" talk
